Conservationists in Mexico have brought a species of fish – that was previously declared extinct – back to the wild.

“Missing” since 2003, the Tequila fish is back in the rivers of south-west Mexico.

The reintroduction is being held up as an example of how freshwater ecosystems and species can be saved.
