France's Macron to push for new ties in central Africa

President Emmanuel Macron is beginning a tour of central Africa, aiming to retain France’s engagement in the region as it scales back its military presence there. But amid stiff competition from Russia and China, as well as France’s colonial legacy, Macron has a tough task ahead.
