Former Twitter employee jailed for spying for Saudi Arabia – BBC News

A court in California has sentenced a former Twitter manager to three-and-a-half years in jail for spying on behalf of Saudi Arabia. 

Ahmad Abouammo handed over the personal details of critics of the Saudi government, including email addresses and phone numbers. In return, he received hundreds of thousands of dollars.
