First video from China’s Mars rover Zhu Rong shows descent and exploration

The China National Space Agency released the first video clips of China’s Mars rover, Zhu Rong, on June 27, 2021. Footage shows the rover’s descent, separation and movements on Mars. The new video also catches Zhu Rong setting up a camera to take a “selfie” with the lander. Sound clips from the rover, which can be used to analyse the red planet’s environment, were also released.
