COVID cases rising in the Americas, following Europe, PAHO warns

The Americas marked a 23 percent jump in new cases of COVID-19 last week, though most cases were recorded in the United States and Canada.
Health officials in the US are particularly concerned about another potential surge of infections as millions of Americans travel for the Thanksgiving holiday this week.
