Colin Powell, first Black US secretary of state, dies of COVID

Colin Powell, one of the leading figures of American military and foreign policy for nearly two decades, has died at the age of 84.
His family confirmed the news – saying Powell died from COVID-19 complications.
He was the first African American to serve as secretary of state, as well as the country’s top general.
