China tested its largest solid-propellant carrier rocket, the ZK-1A, on November 13, 2021. The ‘Lijian One’ was fired from its base in Yantai city in China’s eastern Shandong province. The test involved simulating the entire process, from loading, transportation, docking and vertical launching. The rocket is expected to embark on its maiden launch in March 2022, carrying six satellites.
