China Eastern crash investigators seek clues from flight data and video of plane’s final moments

All 132 passengers and crew on board China Eastern Airline flight MU5735 are feared dead after the Boeing 737-800 plane crashed into a mountain in China’s southern Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region on March 21, 2022. State media said more than 600 firefighters have been sent to support local emergency services at the crash site near the city of Wuzhou. China Eastern said it would ground all Boeing 737-800 jets in its fleet starting on March 22.
