Ancient lintels stolen from Thailand returned after decades

Decades after they were stolen, two ancient, hand-carved sandstone lintels have been returned to Thailand.
The lintels were once were part of religious sanctuaries built nearly a thousand years ago.
They were stolen and smuggled out of Thailand to the United States during the 1960s, during the war in neighbouring Vietnam.
Officials in Thailand are working to return more of the country’s looted past.

Al Jazeera’s Scott Heidler reports from Ayutthaya, Thailand.
